Don't Neglect Your Teeth in College

My parents always made sure I went to the dentist every six months when I was a child and teenager. When I began college, I started neglecting my teeth. Not only did I munch on candy all day long to keep my energy up for classes, but I also skipped dental cleanings.I figured my teeth couldn't get too bad in just a couple of years. I ended up not visiting the dentist until after I obtained my bachelor's degree, and I almost missed my graduation because of severe tooth pain. I ended up getting emergency treatment and made it to graduation, but I had to go back for a lot more dental work to repair the damage I had done to them. I created this blog to remind others that there is never an excuse to neglect your teeth, and if you do, it will catch up to you later.
